Taking influence from Seaton Delaval Hall and the English baroque style architecture and design by Vanbrugh.
The cylinder has been wheel thrown with a turned rim and base. Deep ridges have been carved using specialist tools and measured by eye to replicate the coloumns that flag the entrance of Seaton Delaval Hall. Finished with a dome top and a burnished copper twisted handle. Has a transparent glaze in the inside and a matt slip brushed outer body. No drainage hole in base.

Handmade by our expert potters at our workshop in Northumberland and fired in our traditional Beehive kiln. This large pot features a shapely body and 6 raised bands on its upper body and a prominent rim. Fired high in the kiln which has resulted in stunning patterning and shine to the salt glazed finish. There is no drainage hole in the base but an outlet hole has been placed at the bottom of one side, making this piece ideal to be used as part of a water feature.

Salt glazed pottery lidded storage jar. Handmade by Roly with a beautiful bellied form and lipped handthrown lid to match. Decorated with a thick patterned band and a special ER slip that enhances the colour and patterning of the salt glazed finish. No drainage hole in base.
