Areas have been highlighted with a white porcelain slip offering a contrast of light and shade to the salt glaze which is heightened by the glow of the candle light. The turned top gives ample room for a large pillar candle or a number of smaller candles to create a warming ambience in the home with a lipped base to collect any runaway wax.
